Maine’s rules — the OCP’s Metrc reporting for adult use, the separate medical lane, and the cannabis sales tax that changed January 1, 2026 — are researched from the state’s own pages and statute and coded into the register before we open in Maine. The register does the tax math at the sale and the state reporting follows from it; you run the shop.
