Cannabis rules don’t cross state lines.

METRC states (18)

Franwell METRC seed-to-sale — the de facto standard. These pages are written against METRC’s reporting model; the per-state specifics layer on top.

COTarget: Mid 2027

Colorado

MED · Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division

Built for the Colorado operator who’s tired of a POS that hasn’t shipped a meaningful change in two years. MED rules native — Metrc integration in flight, the 15% retail sales tax charged in lieu of (not on top of) the 2.9% state rate, the 2.9% medical lane, REASON-coded inventory adjustments, and a rec/medical split the regulator expects.

CATarget: Mid 2027

California

DCC · California Department of Cannabis Control

Built for the California operator paying four to seven vendors to do what one platform should. DCC rules native — Metrc integration in flight, the 15% excise held flat through June 2028 under AB-564, and the layered state / city / county tax stack confirmed with you at onboarding, because we don’t guess a municipal rate.

ORTarget: Mid 2027

Oregon

OLCC · Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission

Native compliance hooks for Oregon OLCC rules. Metrc integration in flight, 17% state tax math + up to 3% local option, packaging + labeling enforcement surfaced in-platform. We didn’t bolt OR on as an afterthought.

MITarget: Dec 2026

Michigan

CRA · Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency

Built for the 3-10 store Michigan operator who’s outgrown off-the-shelf POS but isn’t paying 365 Cannabis enterprise rates. CRA rules native — Metrc integration in flight, 10% retail excise + 24% CRFTA wholesale excise (effective Jan 1, 2026) + 6% sales tax, cross-store reporting that actually rolls up, and the medical / adult-use lane split CRA requires. Multi-store data architecture is the wedge — built around the seams a 3-10 store operator actually hits.

NJTarget: Mid 2027

New Jersey

CRC · New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission

Built for the independent New Jersey operator who already knows what their software costs them. CRC rules native — state 6.625% sales tax, the cultivator-side Social Equity Excise Fee handled off-register as cost basis, up to 2% local transfer tax, traceability handoff, and the medical/adult-use lane split CRC requires. The SEEF math most multi-state POS botch — by putting it on the receipt. It’s not a receipt line, and we keep it off your sales export.

BioTrack states (2)

Helix BioTrack THC seed-to-sale — a smaller cohort with a mature reporting cadence. Written against BioTrack’s model rather than assuming METRC everywhere.

NMS2S states (New Mexico) (1)

New Mexico's Cannabis Control Division moved the entire industry off BioTrack to the state's own New Mexico Seed-to-Sale System on September 4, 2026 — one week's notice, mandatory for every licensee. We generate the NMS2S-shaped reporting; there is no integrator connection to it yet, and we say so before you sign.

CCRS states (Washington) (1)

Washington built its own Cannabis Compliance and Reporting System rather than license a vendor — most multi-state POS skip CCRS, CannAgent ships it natively.

State-portal states (Vermont) (1)

Vermont built its own CCB Portal for biweekly licensee inventory reports rather than license a vendor or expose an integrator API. CannAgent generates the portal-ready report on the CCB's cadence; the licensee submits it.

No mandated track-and-trace (POS is the system of record) (1)

States that mandate no specific seed-to-sale vendor (e.g. Arizona). The licensee must still track and audit seed-to-sale — so the POS itself has to be the defensible record. CannAgent builds that in rather than assuming a state system does it for you.

Don’t see your state?

Every state with adult-use retail open is covered above. If you’re a medical-only operator (FL / PA / VA / WV and others) or in a state mid-legalization (KY / NH / NC), the demo call covers exactly what we’d build for your regulator before launch.
